CONTINUING EDUCATION APPLICATION

The Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work (GSCSW) has been appointed by the State Licensing Board to approve continuing education programs by which social workers can meet licensing requirements. Approval of your program through GSCSW means that social workers participating in your program receive core CEU hours.

GSCSW will approve programs which are relevant to the field of clinical social work, provide an outline of specific goals and objectives to be covered and taught by licensed professionals. Evaluation forms must be given to all program attendees to assess whether educational goals and objectives were met. Program facilities must be accessible to persons with disabilities and ethical standards must be maintained.

Approved programs are expected to provide certificates of attendance to all participants who complete the program. These certificates should state that the program has been approved by GSCSW. All attendance records should be kept for a period of three years.

To apply for continuing education units for your program, please complete the enclosed application. We do not approve programs retroactively. The application fees for GSCSW member, non-members, non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations are outlined on the GSCSW Continuing Education Application.

If you are approved and wish to purchase our mailing labels, these will be available to you at a cost of $45.00. To avoid unnecessary delays, check to be sure that your application has the correct amount of postage.

The GSCSW looks forward to helping you provide a continuing education program of the highest quality and benefit to the field of clinical social work. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact GSCSW.
