Join us for our next workshop! Rita Mathis, LCSW, will be presenting on Breaking the Cycle of Abuse. She has been trained in Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Informed treatments. Rita has worked in the mental health profession for over 30 years. The workshop seeks to increase our understanding of Domestic and Dating Violence. The learning objectives include: 1) defining Domestic and Dating Violence, 2) understanding the continuum of violence and the Power & Control Wheels, 3) learning about treatment for Domestic and Dating Violence, and 4) where to find supportive resources.
This event will provide 2.0 CEUs. Free CEUs are given to GSCSW members. There is a $15.00 fee per CEU for nonmembers wishing to receive credit.
The workshop will take place between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the Monroe Building at Hillside Hospital located at 690 Courtney Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
