Career Development Committee presents: The Basics of Social Work Licensure, Presented by Jean Rowe, LCSW, CJT

Finding our way through what is required to become licensed as a social worker can feel like a scavenger hunt. There are rules, regulations, policies, changes, different websites to consult, applications to complete and more. This workshop is designed to help you get organized and make a plan towards becoming licensed. Free for current GSCSW members; $50.00 for non-members

Jean is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Journal Therapist. She is licensed in the states of North Carolina and Georgia.
Jean provides supervision to individuals working towards clinical licensure as social workers and provides clinical consultation to those already licensed. Her work includes educational product and program development, delivery, management and evaluation.

Jean counsels, mentors, partners with and helps others heal as they reclaim their lives and move forward with their goals. Jean encourages seeing from different perspectives and challenges the norms in the service of healing. A common thread throughout her work is the importance of self-care.
