Name: Integrative Health PC

Description
I provide individual and group behavioral health services to adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health, substance use, relational, and psychosocial concerns. My clinical approach is individualized, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and focused on helping clients develop practical skills that improve emotional regulation, daily functioning, interpersonal relationships, and overall stability. Services include assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, mood instability, grief and loss, trauma-related symptoms, chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal conflict, caregiver burnout, codependency, boundary difficulties, adjustment concerns, and challenges associated with major life transitions. Treatment may also address the interaction between chronic medical conditions or pain and emotional functioning, including the effects of physical limitations, disrupted sleep, social isolation, loss of independence, and changes in identity or purpose. I provide substance use and recovery-focused services addressing relapse prevention, identification of emotional and environmental triggers, development of healthy coping strategies, recovery identity, accountability, criminal-thinking patterns, and the impact of substance use on family and interpersonal relationships. Treatment incorporates motivational interviewing, relapse-prevention strategies, psychoeducation, and development of sustainable recovery supports. Trauma-informed services include helping clients recognize trauma triggers, understand physiological and emotional responses to trauma, challenge trauma-related guilt and shame, process distressing memories and beliefs, strengthen personal safety, and develop grounding and emotional-regulation skills. Services may also include crisis stabilization, safety planning, and support for individuals experiencing domestic violence, unsafe relationships, housing instability, or other significant environmental stressors. Family and relationship-focused interventions address communication, healthy boundaries, attachment-related concerns, codependent patterns, parenting stress, caregiver burden, conflict cycles, and development of healthier interpersonal relationships. When clinically appropriate, treatment includes parent coaching, behavioral structure, de-escalation strategies, and development of consistent household boundaries. Clinical interventions are selected according to the client's needs and may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, motivational interviewing, solution-focused interventions, strengths-based therapy, behavioral activation, grounding and mindfulness techniques, psychoeducation, emotional-identification work, communication and boundary-setting skills, relapse-prevention planning, grief interventions, and trauma-informed care. Treatment also recognizes the impact of social determinants of health on mental health and recovery. When appropriate, services include therapeutic problem-solving and coordination related to housing instability, transportation barriers, financial stress, food insecurity, access to medical and psychiatric care, disability-related limitations, social isolation, and connection with community resources. My overall approach emphasizes meeting clients where they are while balancing empathy with accountability. Treatment focuses not only on symptom reduction but also on helping clients understand patterns that contribute to distress, develop healthier coping and relationship skills, increase independence and self-advocacy, strengthen natural supports, and improve their ability to function safely and meaningfully within their families and communities.
