LCSW in private practice focusing on grief and loss, adoption, and acute/chronic medical issues. I focus on grief and loss (including non-death losses); trauma-informed support for adoptees; LGBTQIA+ affirming; and the psychosocial impact of acute and chronic health challenges (passionate about aging/caregiving, cancer, "invisible illnesses" like POTS and CF, and medical trauma). I use an eclectic approach tailored to clients' needs and strengths. With adults, I utilize tenets from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, ACT, and compassion focused therapy. I'm trained in ERP, CPT, and TF-CBT as well. With children, I primarily do nondirective play based intervention using art/sand/toys, and am in process of getting Theraplay trained.
