I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, speaker, consultant, and trainer with more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of grief, trauma, and domestic violence. My work focuses particularly on traumatic and violent loss, including homicide, suicide, murder-suicide, overdose, and other sudden or unexpected deaths. I have extensive experience developing and delivering education for mental health and helping professionals, with a focus on moving beyond traditional approaches to grief and strengthening trauma-informed responses to survivors. My professional experience includes work with domestic violence survivors, crime victims, and individuals impacted by homicide and murder-suicide, as well as statewide training, program development, and community education. I am passionate about helping clinicians better understand the complexities of grief, trauma, and violence so they can provide more informed, compassionate, and effective support to the people they serve. I provide speaking, consulting, and continuing education training for mental health professionals, agencies, and organizations.
