I am an experienced and compassionate psychotherapist specializing in Anxiety, Stress Management, Life Transitions, Trauma Recovery, Grief, and Caregiver Support. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Holistic Life, Career, and Executive Coach, and a Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher. *** I strive to empower clients to make positive changes not only within themselves, but in their families, and communities as well. I believe compassion, collaboration, and a non-judgmental stance are the cornerstones of a successful therapeutic relationship, and I bring that mindset into each session. *** I focus primarily on mindfulness-based and evidence-based treatment approaches. I have specialized, advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-informed therapeutic interventions, Somatic-based interventions, and Bilateral Stimulation. *** I also utilize evidence-based tools and techniques from a variety of additional modalities including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strengths-based Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. *** Prior to moving full-time into private practice, I worked for more than two decades in corporate management and leadership roles, using my social services experience and business skills to foster growth and success in the individuals around me. *** I believe that the answer to difficult challenges is not to push away or deny our thoughts and feelings, but to mindfully accept their presence and learn to change the way we relate to them.
