DescriptionProviding behavioral health and Supervision Martha Elaine Hage, LCSW has been active in the social work field since 2009. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Georgia State University, and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She received her license in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in August 2013 and her Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) in November 2016.
Martha has had experience working in many clinical/community settings including hospice, transitional housing, domestic violence and homeless/low-income needs. Martha has also had experience facilitating early memory loss support groups, program development for older adults, and interventions for those experiencing geriatric depression and dementia. Martha spent most of her time working in hospice care for 6 years providing clinical interventions and resources as well as management of the social work team. She has provided families with assistance in managing anticipatory grief and coping with the loss of a loved one. In addition, she has previous experience providing supervision that is individualized based on the client’s learning objectives and goals. Martha recently worked as an Advance Care Planning Facilitator with Wellstar Health System providing patients value based conversations in the outpatient setting. Currently, she is working as a Behavioral Telehealth Clinician with Iris Telehealth.
