2025-2026 Legislative Town Hall

Join us to discuss and learn more about the 2025-2026 legislative landscape. We will be focusing on legislation that effects social workers’ ability to diagnose, bill, and work in Georgia. We also pay attention to matters that effect consumers’ ability to receive services with social workers.

Presenters:

Jamie Lord has been lobbying for GSCSW since 2020. Jamie is a talented lobbyist who advocates for causes including education, healthcare, and human rights. William Smith, LCSW works at the intersections of mental health, law, and business. He also chairs the GSCSW Legislative Committee.
